From Johannesburg International Airport to Fairlawns (approx 25km/20min)

On leaving the Airport, take the R24 to Johannesburg. You stay on the highway untilyou see signs to Pretoria. Get into the lane saying N3 to Pretoria, which does a loop under the R24. Travel north along the N3 and take the Marlboro off-ramp and turn left. Carry onalong this road until you get to a T-Junction. (Marlboro and Katherine Ave - which changes name to Bowling Ave at this point). Turn right and go through 4 sets of Traffic lights. Immediately after the 4th set of traffic lights, you need to turn left into Alma Road. Drive 500m down Alma road where the road will dog-leg and you will see FAIRLAWNS in brass letters on the right hand side. Turn right into the hotel.


From Pretoria

Route - Ben Schoeman Highway (M1) towards Johannesburg (approx. 35km/30min). Pass the Woodmead off-ramp, and take the Marlboro off-ramp. Turn right under the highway. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights into Katherine Ave. Turn right into Katherine Ave. Carry on straight through another two sets of traffic lights and immediately after the second turn left into Alma Road. (Note that the Alma Rd sign is on the right hand side of the road, but there is a Fairlawns sign and an Ernest Ullman Park sign on the left). Drive 500m down Alma road where the road will dog-leg and you will see FAIRLAWNS in brass letters on the right hand side. Turn right into the hotel.


From Johannesburg

Route - Ben Schoeman Highway (M1) towards Pretoria (approx. 15km/20min). Pass the Wynberg off-ramp. Turn off at the Marlboro off-ramp. Turn left at the traffic lights at the bottom of the off-ramp, down to the next set of traffic lights at the T-junction. (The name changes from Katherine Ave on the left, to Bowling Ave on the right of the T-junction). Turn right into Katherine Ave. Carry on straight through another two sets of traffic lights and immediately after the second turn left into Alma Road. (Note that the Alma Rd sign is on the right hand side of the road, but there is a Fairlawns sign and an Ernest Ullman Park sign on the left). Drive 500m down Alma road where the road will dog-leg and you will see FAIRLAWNS in brass letters on the right hand side. Turn right into the hotel.


From Rivonia

Route - Rivonia Road heading towards Sandton City (approx. 5km/10min). Turn left into South Road. Go down the hill, through the first set of traffic lights, then turn left into Bowling Ave at the next intersection. Go through two traffic lights; immediately after the second turn left into Alma Road. (Note that the Alma Rd sign is on the right hand side of the road, but there is a Fairlawns sign and an Ernest Ullman Park sign on the left). Drive 500m down Alma road where the road will dog-leg and you will see FAIRLAWNS in brass letters on the right hand side. Turn right into the hotel.


From Sandton City

Route - Rivonia Road heading north towards Rivonia (approx 4km/10min). Pass City Lodge on your left; turn right into South Road at the Shell Garage. Go down the hill, through the first set of traffic lights, then turn left into Bowling Ave at the next intersection. Go through two traffic lights; immediately after the second turn left into Alma Road. (Note that the Alma Rd sign is on the right hand side of the road, but there is a Fairlawns sign and an Ernest Ullman Park sign on the left). Drive 500m down Alma road where the road will dog-leg and you will see FAIRLAWNS in brass letters on the right hand side. Turn right into the hotel.
