Terms and Conditions
ACCOMMODATION
- All rates are inclusive of 14% VAT where applicable and subject to change without prior notice.
- Rates are quoted in South African Rand and are per room per night on a bed and breakfast basis.
- Rates are EXCLUSIVE of telephone, laundry, in-room bar, airport transfers, Spa treatments, gratuities or any other extras which may be incurred.
- TOURISM LEVY is levied at an additional !% on accommodation rate only.
- Transfers within the Sandton area and use of the gym, steam and sauna facilities is complimentary.
- Reservations will be automatically released if payment is not made within the specified period.
- The hotel is unable to accommodate more than 2 adults per room.
- It is advisable to pre-book restaurant or Spa bookings on the day of arrival to avoid disappointment.
- Please advise us of any special dietary requirements or any special occasions that we should be aware of.
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE TIMES:
- Occupation from 14h00 on day of arrival and vacated by 11h00 on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests. While every effort is made to be accommodating, the Hotel cannot guarantee early check-ins unless the room is booked for the previous evening or late check-outs unless the room is booked for the following evening. A courtesy bathroom is available for guests wishing to shower before going to the office.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
Cancellations
- All cancellations must be in writing. No verbal cancellations will be accepted and must be reconfirmed by reservations.
- Waiving of cancellation fees will only be considered under very special circumstances, and then only if authorized, in writing, by the General Manager or Directors.
- Shortened stays will be judged on merit, but the Hotel reserves the right to charge the full duration of the booked stay.
- The Hotel reserves the right to treat postponements as cancellations.
- Where a group booking is made (3 suites or more), special cancellation clauses may apply in consultation with the booking agent.
CORPORATE
- 100% if not cancelled by 12 noon two business days prior to arrival.
- No show 100%
TOUR OPERATORS AND TRAVEL AGENTS
- 25% of fee if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
- 50% of fee if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival.
- 100% of fee if cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival.
Payment Policies
- Authorized Credit card details or direct bank deposits are required.
- Once confirmed in writing, all booking and cancellation clauses apply.
- Where a block booking is made, special cancellation and release clauses may apply.
CORPORATE
- 100% deposit on confirmation
- Full payment of extras, including drinks, is payable on departure.
TOUR OPERATORS AND TRAVEL AGENTS
- Full pre-payment is required 30 days prior to arrival.
- All extras payable on departure by Guests.
GROUP BOOKING POLICY
This applies to 5 or more rooms:
- Full pre-payment is required 30 days prior to arrival.
- 25% of fee if cancelled less than 90 days prior to arrival.
- 50% of fee if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
- 100% of full fee if cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival.
- Full pre-payment 30 days prior to arrival. (Applies to Tour operators / Travel Agents)
- Reservations will be automatically released if payment is not made within the specified period.
- Please advise Reservations in advance if restaurant bookings or Spa treatments are required on the day of arrival in order to avoid disappointment.
- Please advise Reservations of any special dietary requirements or special occasions (anniversary, birthday, etc.)
CREDIT CARDS
- Amex, Mastercard, Visa and Diners are accepted.
CHILDREN POLICY
- Children under 12 years of age by prior arrangement.
CONFERENCE, BANQUET, FUNCTION AND WEDDING facilities are available.
